The TIE 4i4o USB/MIDI interface sets up a Windows or Mac computer with four MIDI-IN ports and four MIDI-OUT ports so you can hook up and seamlessly integrate your vintage '80s and '90s gear into your digital studio. Like a little bridge between the ages of MIDI, this 100% plug-and-play desktop box allows you to control that old synth via your DAW software and, since it provides four sets of inputs and outputs, you can link up a full stack of gear with minimum fuss.

Ik heb deze midi interface nu al een tijdje.
Simpele bediening door op 1 knop alle mogelijke setups te doorlopen. Er steek een overzichtelijke korte handleiding bij.
Mocht er van dit merk een 8 of 16 kanaals interface bestaan dan kocht ik hem.
Enige minpunt is dat er 2 midikabels langs voor gaan en 2 langs achter, wat minder praktisch bij beperkte plaats.
Ik gebruik hem zonder DAW, oldschool van synth naar synth, no problems so far ;-)
Bax service top.
Deze USB-midi interface werkt goed, maar...... de ingangen zijn uitgangen en de ingangen uitgangen.
De belettering op dit mooie kast zijn verkeerd om, op soortgelijke app. op de site van Bax zitten ze wel goed.
Dus werkend, maar dan wel aansluiten op in/uit vv

Van de week deze midi controller binnen gekregen. Het aansluiten op mijn Mac is moeiteloos. Geen drivers nodig. Hij wordt direct herkend. Op dit moment heb ik drie jaren 80 synthesizers erop aangesloten. Deze heb ik in de MAC midi setup geconfigureerd op de Tie 4i4o controller. Mijn DAW kon ze direct gebruiken. Alle drie de synths functioneren perfect met gewoon midi data, maar ook met het ontvangen/verzenden van Sysex patches/patch banks. Het is mogelijk om meerdere midi configs te gebruiken door een switch in te drukken. Tot nu toe zeer tevreden.
